Finding the UID
In order to license your PC for Clipstream™ Live you need to look up a special UID code that each Clipstream™ Live application generates for your specific machine. Follow the instructions on this page. *note if you intend to use Clipstream™ Live on more than one machine you will need separate licenses. If you are unsure of your licensing arrangement, please contact the sales department to discuss your needs.

1. Download and install Clipstream™ Live

Click here if you haven't alread installed Clipstream™ Live

2. Start Clipstream™ Live
Find the Clipstream™ Live application icon and launch it.


3. Click on the Help menu
Once Clipstream™ Live is running, open the Help section in the top menu.


4. Choose Registration
Click on Registration to bring up the Registration Window


5. Copy the UID
In the top line there will be a string of numbers and characters displayed. This is called the UID. This identifies the computer you wish to license that will use Clipstream™ Live. Highlight the UID by holding your left mouse button down while dragging it. Then press CTRL+C to copy it. Alternatively, you can click on the Buy button which will launch the Buy page with the UID already in place.


6. Go back to the Buy Page.
Paste the UID number you copied from the Registration window into the UID field in the licensing form.
